Ilha de Luanda Hotel
The Cape Island separated until the sixties of the continent, has always been a place with a special status in the city. Place of leisure and recreation during the last century, still maintains a strong connection to the ocean, with the fishing activities that remain with the yacht club and marina for pleasure craft, in addition to the extensive beach served by modern and elegant dining outlets .
The proposed hotel is located in the first section of sand and faces the Atlantic, benefiting from the proximity of the island's best beaches. The building will have seven floors, and projects into the sandy ground on stilts.
A Ilha do Cabo separada até aos anos sessenta do continente, foi sempre um espaço com um estatuto especial na cidade. Local de passeio e lazer durante o último século, mantém ainda uma forte ligação ao oceano, com as atividades piscatórias que ainda subsistem, com o Clube Náutico e a marina para embarcações de recreio, para além da extensa praia servida por modernos e elegantes espaços de restauração.
O hotel proposto localiza-se no primeiro troço da língua de areia e está virado para o Atlântico, beneficiando da proximidade das melhores praias da ilha. O edifício terá sete pisos, e projeta-se para o areal assente em pilotis.
