Houses in Quinta de Santo António
To develop the architectural design of the five housing proposals, we used various ideas and concepts, most of them starting from the pre -existing, or the bucolic place fifth or the design of existing buildings, creating from there solutions and contemporary models, allowing on the one hand the pursuit of established programs and others who integrate well into existing language.
The top source of the slope, where we propose the construction of housing, is already today a very suggestive green setting. Considering this tree background and the design of the main house , our studies focused on volumetric models with pitched roofs , recreating an environment also semi- rural, but focused on contemporary , resulting in a coherent whole in which they respected the place and the surrounding.
Para o desenvolvimento do desenho arquitectónico das cinco habitações propostas, utilizámos várias ideias e conceitos, a maioria deles partindo das pré-existências, quer o lugar bucólico da quinta, quer o desenho das construções existentes, criando a partir daí soluções e modelos contemporâneos, que permitam por um lado a persecução dos programas estabelecidos e por outro que se integrem bem na linguagem existente.
O topo nascente da encosta, para onde propomos a construção das moradias, constitui já hoje um cenário verde muito sugestivo. Considerando este fundo arbóreo e o desenho da casa principal, os nossos estudos centraram-se em modelos volumétricos com coberturas inclinadas, recriando um ambiente também semi-rural, mas focado na contemporaneidade, resultando num conjunto coerente em que se respeitou o lugar e a envolvente.
